New to GuidedEchos?

GuidedEchos is designed for all ages. The fastest way to get started:

Log in
Add one family member (required)
Record or upload a short audio message (45 seconds)
Upload an important document

In just a few minutes, you’ll have a private digital archive started for your family.

Why do I need to add a family member first?

GuidedEchos organizes memories by the person they belong to. Adding a family member first keeps your audio and documents connected to the right person, so your family can find them later.

How do I record a memory?

Use your phone, tablet, or computer. Go to Audio, select Add Audio Recording, and follow the steps. You can record from your microphone or upload an existing recording.

How do I upload a document?

Go to Documents and select Add Document. Use a clear title (for example: “Insurance Policy” or “Power of Attorney”) so your family can find it later.

Are my memories private and secure?

Yes. Your memories are stored securely in the cloud, and access is limited to the people you invite. You remain in control of who can view or listen.

Can I share my recordings?

Yes. You can share with the people you invite. If you have questions about access for a specific family member, email support and we’ll help.

Quick Troubleshooting

No sound? Check your microphone settings and volume. On iPhone/iPad, make sure the browser has microphone permission.
Upload stuck? Make sure your internet connection is stable, then try again. Large files may take longer on mobile.
Forgot password? Use Forgot Password on the login page to reset.
On a phone? Turn volume up and hold the phone closer when recording.

Allow Camera & Microphone (Recording Help)

When you click Start Recording, your browser will ask to use your camera and microphone. Please click Allow.

Mac

Safari: Safari → Settings (or Preferences) → Websites → Camera and Microphone → find GuidedEchos and set to Allow. Then refresh the page.
Chrome: In the address bar, click the lock icon → Site settings → set Camera and Microphone to Allow. Then refresh.
If it still won’t record: macOS may be blocking access. Go to Apple menu → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera / Microphone and make sure your browser (Safari/Chrome) is allowed.

Windows

Chrome: In the address bar, click the lock icon → Site settings → set Camera and Microphone to Allow. Then refresh.
Edge: In the address bar, click the lock icon → permissions → set Camera and Microphone to Allow. Then refresh.
If it still won’t record: Windows may be blocking access. Go to Settings → Privacy & security → Camera and Microphone → make sure access is on, and your browser is allowed.
