1. What Content Is Not Allowed
GuidedEchos is for family memories, not harmful or inappropriate material. We do not allow:
- Illegal content of any kind
- Child abuse, exploitation, or endangerment
- Pornography or explicit sexual activity
- Graphic violence or gore
- Hate speech, harassment, or bullying
- Self-harm content, suicide encouragement, or credible threats of harm
- Scams, impersonation, or deceptive activity
- Unrelated commercial advertising or political campaigns
These rules help ensure GuidedEchos remains a place families of all ages can trust.
2. How We Review Content
Your privacy is important to us. GuidedEchos does not routinely monitor or review everything you store. Instead, we review content only when:
- It is reported by a user as unsafe or inappropriate, or
- It is automatically flagged by our safety or detection systems, or
- We must review it to comply with law or a valid legal request.
When content is flagged, it may be temporarily hidden while we investigate. Only a small number of authorized team members may review such content, and access may be logged for accountability.
3. What Happens When Content Violates Our Rules
If we find that content violates our rules or applicable law, we may:
- Hide or remove the content
- Contact the uploader for more information
- Limit the user's ability to upload or share content
- Suspend or close the account for serious or repeated violations
- Contact law enforcement or appropriate authorities when required
We always try to take the most respectful and least intrusive action possible while keeping everyone safe and fulfilling our legal obligations.
4. How to Report a Safety Concern
If you see or suspect content on GuidedEchos that looks unsafe, harmful, or inappropriate, please let us know. You can:
- Use any in-app or on-site "Report" feature next to the content (when available), or
- Email us directly at safety@guidedechos.com
We review reports as quickly as we can and will take appropriate action based on our policies.
